Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager contributes to the success of Client Company by applying knowledge of category best practices and consumer insights against objectives, strategies and opportunities. This person will interpret business data to develop fact-based recommendations that support achievement of sales objectives. The Marketing Manager is responsible to provide ongoing assessment and monitoring to determine the effectiveness of various business tactics, they must maintain comprehensive knowledge of customers, consumer insights and various tools, as well as the associated project management. This individual develops plans to capitalize on identified opportunities.

The Marketing Manager will also steward the Company’s marketing strategy, digital strategy and delivering best in class marketing support to operations. Their key responsibility will be the leading of the Company’s marketing strategy and digital strategy and ensuring the delivery and accountability of executing upon customer strategies and tactics. This includes being the company liaison with marketing agencies and vendors to the Client Company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
VISION, STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP

The Marketing Manager will responsible for the integration and implementation of a broad range of marketing, digital strategy, public relations activities and associated project management relative to the strategic objectives as outlined by Company’s leadership

Liaise with product supplier organizations to leverage relationships and coordinate brand activities.

Develop and maintain valued relationships with key media representatives to more frequently and accurately promote the image of the Company Brand.

Oversee the Social Media strategy to ensure it is in alignment with Company’s brand strategy and Company vision.

Oversee the definition and execution of marketing programs and guidelines for projects/initiatives/product launches ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy.

Provide marketing vision expertise tailored to the Agricultural industry

Serve as Marketing subject matter expert, both internally and to all external associations

OPERATIONS

Openly solicit input from executives, regional managers and branch operations to develop and execute well-defined market strategies.

Oversee the design and layout of marketing materials including digital strategy, brochures, sales collateral materials, advertising, signage, videos, web content, general communications, etc.

Provide oversight and evaluation to existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness and provide direction congruent with strategic objectives outlined by senior leadership.

Exercise judgment to prioritize media opportunities

Manage the marketing budget (advertising, promotions, events, etc).

Promote culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality

Establish and monitor department performance and develop goals, assign accountabilities and establish priorities
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

5+ years’ experience leading a corporate marketing team. Preferably for an agricultural or industrial machinery enterprise environment.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and implementing social media strategies

Experience in building, developing, leading, and deploying a marketing team.

Ability to navigate changing priorities and to negotiate and lead amongst multiple priorities and viewpoints from many groups.

Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans

Superlative written communication skills (proposals, presentations, customer experience reviews).

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Excellent Judgement and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution

Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs

Relevant experience as a Marketing Manager or Marketing Director preferred
